After years of hard work and saving money it is not unforeseen for one to plan a move to a place where one can enjoy the succeeding years in rest, quiet, and relaxation. The search for this place need not be difficult. It is just a matter of considering those qualifications you consider the most important when looking for a new home.
When I think about my retirement, I think of opposite spectrums. A place that would have the opportunity to have wonderful, exciting parties, at the same time, offer some peace and quiet; And what better place to find this than in Mexico?
Known for the mariachi, Mercado’s, and its legendary siesta, Mexico offers the retiree both the chance to still have fun and then retire to slumber. Days can be filled with attending local fiestas, participating in community activities like church parties and plays, shopping in the local market; while nights can be filled with quiet peace, tequila, and rest. The climate in Mexico is conducive to those who do not enjoy harsh winters or stifling heat. And what is best is that the locals are known to be friendly and accommodating, making Mexico a favorite town for retirees.
So when I think about that time when I will be able to kick of my work shoes and slip on my sandals, the place I have in mind is Mexico! I know that I will surely find the right way of life and community to live my retirement years.
